First Czech e-Ecofarming course planned for spring 2012

Since spring 2011, the e-Ecofarming products have been elaborated and developed under the aegis of EPOS, the Association of Organic Farming Counsellors stationed in Brno, Czech republic. The aim of the association is to set up a reasonable schedule of a blended-learning course consisting of both present workshops and distant learning based on video conferences and Skype counselling. The didactic plan and exact structure of the course should be prepared by the end of year 2011. In Spring 2012 the pilot course for young farmers should be delivered. Along with these activities, negotiations concerning the official recognition of the organic farmer profession have been undertaken with the aim to offer accredited courses to the teachers of agricultural colleges and tertiary educational institutions in the Czech republic.
